The cost of the camp is $300.00 per week. Payment in full is due at the time of sign up and is non-refundable; however, you can apply the camp deposit towards lessons.
Campers need to wear riding attire and bring a sack lunch, two drinks and a comfortable change of clothes. Ice-water is available during camp. Camp Schedule – Daily 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. 9:00-9:30 Groom and tack up ponies
9:30-10:30 Riding Lesson
10:30-11:00 Cool off ponies and put away tack
11:00-12:00 Horsemanship Lesson
12:00-12:30 Lunch
12:30-1:00 Craft Project
Horsemanship Lesson —This will include learning how to tack and untack their pony, parts of the horse, cleaning tack, cleaning stalls, parts of the tack, bathing a horse and general care of the horse.
The farrier comes out once during the week, so the campers can watch the horses being shod and learn about horse hoof care.
